Men's Screams Go Viral After Snake Slithers Out From Under Hood

NEW DEAL, TEXAS - One million views in less than 24 hours. Little did these guys know that their startled shrieks would catapult them to virality.

“So today me and Zakary [Wyatt] were driving to Levelland to check on a project and we found out we had a friend under the hood,” wrote Swade Moyers in a Facebook post Monday.

Along with that post was a video.

“Oh, my gosh! What the h***,” one of the men can be heard in the background squealing as a small snake head pokes out from under the hood.

They cruise on down the road, both Moyers and Wyatt hurriedly encourage the reptile to “Go, go, go,” and “Fall off, fall off, fall out,” as it slithers its way across the hood of the vehicle.

When it continues to slide out from the confines of the hood, the tip of its tail finally becomes visible and the men are relieved to discover “it’s not a rattlesnake.” They pull over and park on the side of the road.

“Should I go poke it with the umbrella,” one of them asks. But he doesn’t because of what the snake did next.

Things get especially comical when they believe the snake is trying to burrow back into the hood through a crack at the front of the vehicle. They both shriek and take off in the car in an apparent attempt to drive the snake off the hood.

“It's got amazing … grip,” one of them exclaims.

Then, the wind appears to snap the snake straight for the windshield. Again, the men shriek, giggle and the video shuts off.

Since the video was posted yesterday, numerous media networks have shared it — including Lubbock’s KCBD — perhaps to Moyers’ dismay.

“Now the whole city knows how big of girls me and Zakary are,” he wrote in a later post. “1,000,000 Views! We’re famous! LOL!”

Moyers later commented with a second video where he pulled over and allowed the snake to slide off the hood.
