Elephants Race to Save Drowning Baby Elephant

The elephants worked together to save the baby elephant after it went in the water.

Gwacheon, South Korea - A drowning baby elephant has been saved by its elder family members at a zoo in South Korea.

A young elephant, named Hope, tested the water at a pool with its trunk but somehow lost its balance.

A pair of adult elephants, described as the calf's mom and aunt, came to its rescue, first trying to reach it with their trunks, then got into the water to hold the distressed calf up.

They eventually herded the young calf back to the land.
