Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for two suspects after a man was stabbed during a robbery.

Officers say they got a call of a robbery in the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Road around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

Officers say the victim was walking to his girlfriend's apartment when he was grabbed from behind by a suspect. Another suspect approached the victim from the front and demanded his belongings.

The victim struggled, and during the confrontation, one of the suspects stabbed the man in the chest. The suspects then ran from the scene.

The victim was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital for treatment.
