Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell is asking for the community's help in locating a missing Orangeburg man.
Officers say they were notified shortly after 10 p.m. Monday that 26-year-old Sanjeev Verma was missing. According to Ravenell, Verma's wife last spoke with her husband around 6:45 p.m. when he notified her he was heading to speak with a local magistrate.
"Our investigation indicates Verma never made contact with the magistrate, " said Ravenell. "At this point, we can not rule out anything, " said Ravenell, "Sanjeev is a husband and father. We want to be bale to locate him and ease the minds of his family members that he is safe."
The victim's vehicle, a gray 2007 Nissan Sentra, was located Tuesday morning on Cleveland Street in Elloree.
