Sumter, SC (WLTX) - The 3rd Army at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter will soon have a new leader
President Obama has promoted Lt. General Vincent Brooks to the rank of commanding general at Fort Shafter in Hawaii.
The president will have to name his replacement at Shaw, but so far hasn't nominated anyone just yet.
