Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Starting next year the GED in our state will only be administered by a computer.
Research shows that adults score higher and finish faster on the computerized Rest then by using the paper version.
South Carolina began piloting the computer-based testing last year. It is already available six places statewide, including three places here in the Midlands.
The tests will soon be available in five other counties before going statewide on January 1st next year. South Carolina is the 15 state in the nation to offer the computerized test.
