Columbia, S.C. (WLTX)--Columbia Police have arrested one man and are searching for a second after a tip led them to a house where they say they found drugs.
Police say a Crimestoppers tip led them to the 5000 block of Middleton Street Tuesday. Once there, they say they asked to search the residence and a vehicle on the property, and were given permission by someone at the residence.
Investigators say a search turned up a half-pound of crack cocaine valued at about $19,500. They think the drugs belong to 37-year-old Theodore V. Mosby.
Columbia Police Department's Drug Suppression team has a warrant to charge Mosby for trafficking crack cocaine.
Derrick Stinson, 40, is also facing charges in connection with the case. Police have charged him with simple possession of marijuana. They say they found the small amount of marijuana in the residence.
If you know where Mosby is, or have information about this case, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
