Pelion, SC (WLTX) - A ribbon-cutting took place Monday morning to celebrate the expansion of the Pelion Senior Center.
The expansion was funded, in part, by funds from the Permanent Improvement Project, which is administered through the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging.
Our state has one of the fastest growing senior populations in the nation.
Right now South Carolina's senior population is more than 900,000 and is projected to nearly double by the year 2030.
