No Bond Set for Sumter Man Accused of Killing Ex-Wife

James Lee Ginther, 26, will be held at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center until another bond hearing before a circuit court judge on January 12.

Sumter County, SC (WLTX) - No bond was set during a hearing on Wednesday for the Sumter man charged with the kidnap and murder of his ex-wife.

James Lee Ginther, 26, will be held at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center until a bond hearing before a circuit court judge on January 12.

Ginther was arrested on November 20 in Louisville, Kentucky, in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Suzette Ginther, whose body was found in a shallow grave in the Manchester Forest in Sumter County.

Deputies apprehended Ginther after running his information for a minor traffic accident. He was transported back to South Carolina on Tuesday night by investigators.
