Officials Search for Missing Columbia Man

Columbia, SC (WTLX) -- Residents are asked to keep eyes peeled for the pictured man, Eugene Scott, who has been reported missing.

According to acting Police Chief Melron Kelly, Mr. Scott was last seen leaving a Hyatt Avenue location in Columbia at around 10:00AM Sunday, after allegedly telling a caregiver he was headed to church. Mr. Scott reportedly did not make it to church.

The caregiver tells Columbia Police that while not uncommon for Mr. Scott to leave his residence to run errands, loved ones are very concerned for his well-being.

He has a health condition that requires regular medication, and also has impaired vision in his left eye. He is approximately 160 pounds, and 5 feet - ten inches tall.

Mr. Scott was last seen wearing jeans, a grey t-shirt, and dark blue windbreaker jacket.
