Regulators Issue Warning to Customers of DialTone & More

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Approximately 5700 telephone customers may lose their service, according to the S.C. Office of Regulatory Staff. 

DialTone & More currently leases facilities from AT&T, but in a consumer advisory issued today by the ORS, AT&T has notified DialTone & More and the ORS of a possible disconnection of service starting March 1st.

The customers who receive local telephone service from DialTone & More that will be affected are in the following counties:

Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Charleston, Cherokee, Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Edgefield Fairfield, Florence, Greenville, Kershaw, Lancaster, Lexington, Marlboro, Marion, Newberry, Oconee, Orangeburg, and York
