(WLTX) -- Pampered Chef is recalling about 286,000 garlic slicers due to a concerns over a lacerations hazard.
A blade on the garlic slicer can unexpectedly dislodge during use, posing a laceration hazard to the consumer. There's already one report of a customer cutting her finger.
The recall involves the Pampered Chef garlic slicers that are sold under product number 1113 (individual) and 2578 (set).
The two-piece with white plastic, tube shaped slicer measures of 2 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches has two blades on the end.
"The Pampered Chef" is engraved on the top cover.
Consumers should stop using the garlic slicers and contact
