Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Saturday night, over 77,000 Gamecock packed Williams-Brice Stadium to cheer on their team to a victory against UAB.
But not everyone. Some just enjoy it from a comfy chair outside.
"Go Cocks that's right," said Nancy Lloyd.
Harvey and Nancy Lloyd have spent 50 years cheering on the Gamecocks.
"We retired from our civilian jobs and we decided to get out and just have a good time," said Harvey.
The two have cheered for the Gamecocks inside the stadium and in the tailgate park. This is the first year with their new RV.
"It's absolutely wonderful, we have had a great time we went across the street and saw some people we know then game back over here and we cooked and we have our TV and just watch the game. "
Nancy says their tailgate isn't anything fancy but a win and some good food gets the job done.
"A few hot wings and a little celery and we are good to go. As long as the gamecocks win there are no complaints," said Nancy.
But don't expect the RV to sit here in Columbia, they're ready to hit the road.
"We are going to try to do a lot of the away games and set up the RV and go to as many as we can," said Harvey.
Harvey and Nancy say spending all day cheering for the team they love is all worth it.
