Eugene, OR (Sports Network) - University of Oregon starting defensive tackle
Isaac Remington has been suspended indefinitely after reportedly being
ticketed for driving under the influence early Friday morning.
According to The Register-Guard, Remington was detained by Eugene police at a
traffic stop just after 12:30 a.m. (pt) and subsequently taken into custody,
but was not jailed. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Eugene Municipal Court
on Nov. 1.
Remington had started each of the first six games for the No. 2 Ducks, who
remained unbeaten on the season with last Saturday's 52-21 victory over
Washington. He has compiled 12 tackles with one sack and four stops for loss
this season.
Oregon does not play until a road date with Arizona State this coming
Thursday.
