Jadeveon Clowney Honored by SEC

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- For the third time this season, sophomore Defensive End Jadeveon Clowney has been honored by the SEC for his on-field performance.

This week the SEC gave Clowney the nod as SEC Defensive Lineman of The Week, and Co-Defensive Player of The Week for Saturday's win against Clemson.

Clowney set a new school record of 4.5 sacks in a single game, and broke the school's single season sack record with 13. With that performance on Saturday, Clowney he also set a single game sacks record for Clemson at Memorial Stadium. 

He was also named the Defensive Lineman of the Week by the SEC, after wins over UAB and Kentucky. He is a finalist for the Nagurski Trophy, the Lombardi Award and the Bednarik Award.
