(Columbia) -- Richland County deputies have arrested a man they say solicited sex from someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl over the Internet.
Deputies arrested 36-year-old Leroy Everett York of 2700 Feather Run Trail, Apt. R16, in West Columbia, and charged him with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor on Tuesday.
Investigators say York began soliciting sex online to a person he thought was a 13-year-old girl on April 9th. They say York was actually communicating with an undercover deputy with the Richland County Sheriff's Department when officers showed up to arrest him.
Officers say York answered the door in the nude.
Deputies seized a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a web camera and other computer related items from York's home.
York's arrest is the 107th in Attorney General Henry McMaster's Internet Crimes Against Children Task force.
