Trexler's Released on Bond in Georgia

JEFFERSON COUNTY, GA (WLTX) ? The mother and son duo from Richland County who have been in the spotlight for neglecting horses posted bond in Georgia Friday afternoon.

Hazel Trexler, and her son Terry, were released from the Jefferson County Jail after posting bond that was set at $50,000 each.

Both Trexler?s were charged with 30 counts of animal cruelty, as well as 25 counts of moving horses that had been quarantined.

Authorities say that 25 horses seized from the Trexlers in South Carolina had been quarantined for health reasons in Georgia.
