Columbia (WLTX) -- The latest movie that's being filmed in the Palmetto State could feature you or someone you know, when open castings calls start Thursday and Saturday.

A news release from the group filming South Carolina's next picture says open casting calls for the movie, "Nailed," will start be held on Thursday, March 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dutch Square Mall on Bush River Road for girls aged seven to 12 years old.

On Saturday, March 29, another casting call will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for anyone looking to be an extra in the film.

The movie's Extras Casting director Tona B. Dahlquist also worked on "Leatherheads," "Forrest Gump," and "Radio," that all featured South Carolina. Dahlquist says they are looking for all ages that will appear as stand-ins for different actors.

Dahlquist says in a news release that there is a very strong need for girls seven to 12 years old, and they will need hundreds of girls throughout the course of filming.

The news release says anyone interested needs to bring a current snapshot of the actor that will not be returned. Movie officials say they will not take photographs at the casting call.

Dahlquist says in the news release that "Photos can be a basic snapshot printed off a computer, or even a Polaroid." She says casting officials just want the picture to look like the actor.

Production officials are also looking for vehicles from the 1950s, 1970s, and 1990s. Anyone with such a vehicle can email production at nailedcasting@gmail.com.

The comedy will star Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal, and is directed by David O. Russell. Biel plays a small town waitress who accidentally gets a nail stuck in her head, and begins behaving unpredictably. Gyllenhaal plays a young senator in Washington, D.C. that meets Biel, and takes up her cause. Filming is set to begin this spring in Columbia.
