Kent, Washington (KOMO-TV) - A 17-year-old girl was stuck and killed by an Amtrak train as she walked across the tracks while on her cell phone Monday.
It happened in Kent, Washington about 11:30 a.m.
Kent Police say the girl was on her cell phone and was not at a marked crossing when she stepped on the tracks. The tracks separate businesses on one side with a residential neighborhood on the other side.
The girl's name has not been released.
