Aiken County (WLTX) -- Aiken County deputies arrested two North Augusta brothers after they say they robbed a woman of her purse in the parking lot of Bank of America in Belvedere.
Deputies arrested 23-year-old Thomas Chambers and his brother, 19-year-old Matthew Chambers and charged each of them with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Investigators say at about 1:30 p.m., the Chambers brothers walked up to a woman sitting in her car outside the bank.
That's when deputies say they showed the woman a handgun and demanded her purse.
Investigators say the gunmen ran into a neighborhood behind the bank, where one was arrested almost immediately.
At About 3 p.m., the Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team arrested the second suspect.
Deputies recovered a handgun and the victim?s money. Both men are being held at the Aiken County jail.
