Florence (AP) -- RAIN is expected in Florence, but not from the sky. RAIN is the name of an agriculture conference being held Friday at Clemson University's Pee Dee Research and Education Center. It's an acronym for Research, Agriculture, Industry and Nature. The topic of the statewide conference will be collaborations for agriculture. There will be talks on developing vineyards and the growth of tourism based on agriculture. The conference is sponsored by Coastal Carolina, Francis Marion and Clemson universities.
