Richland County (WLTX) -- Deputies in Richland County need the community's assistance in locating a man wanted for bank fraud and identity theft.

Sheriff Leon Lott says 25-year-old Kendall Maurice Harmon is wanted on two counts of bank fraud and one count of identity theft. Lott says Maurice has victimized several people.

Deputies say that back on June 1, one victim had their wallet stolen that contained the victim's credit card and driver's license. On June 11, Harmon used that victim's identification to withdraw money from the victim's bank account.

Two weeks later, deputies say Harmon was visiting an acquaintance, and when the acquaintance left the home, Harmon stole the victim's credit card and made several purchases at local businesses.

If you know where Harmon is, contact Crimestoppers by calling 1-888-CRIME-SC or e-mail a tip in to www.midlandscrimestoppers.com. You can also text information in by texting "TIPSC" plus your message to CRIMES (274637). Either way you choose, your identity will remain anonymous, and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
