Simpsonville (Greenville Online) - A Simpsonville man identified by Greenville Police as a J.L. Mann High School teacher and coach was arrested and accused Friday of having sex with a 15-year-old female student.
Jeremy Michael Spencer, 26, of 416 Golden Leaf Lane, is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, according to an arrest warrant.
The alleged sexual assault took place last May in a J.L. Mann classroom, the warrant alleges.
Spencer's bond has been set at $20,000, according to jail records.
Police said Spencer has been suspended from the school.
