Cayce, SC (WLTX) -- The Lexington County Coroner's office has concluded that a woman found dead in a wooded area was strangled.
Officials identified the victim as 51-year-old Barbara Robinson, though a home address was not given in a Monday news release from the Cayce Department of Public Safety.
Robinson's body was discovered Sunday morning on Lee Street in Cayce. She was found behind a vacant duplex, near the wood line beside a shed in the back yard.
The State Law Enforcement Division is assisting the investigation.
