
Blythewood, SC (WLTX) -- Richland County deputies say two gunmen approached the manager of a Blythewood grocery store before they took the store's money bag.
According to investigators with the Richland County Sheriff's Department, two armed men approached employees of the IGA Foodliner at 135 Blythewood Road as the victims left their vehicle at about 11:30 a.m.
Deputies say when the suspects pulled a gun on the manager, he dropped the money bag, and the suspects jumped into a getaway car.
A witness followed the suspects, and deputies say the gunmen opened fire on the witness. A K-9 unit and a helicopter were used during the pursuit of the suspects.
Three men were arrested at the scene. Richland County deputies are working to provide identities of the suspects, and wltx.com will have the information when it becomes available.
