
Clarendon County, SC (WLTX) - One person is dead after a early morning collision in Clarendon County.
The SC Highway Patrol says the driver was going south on Secondary 145, three miles south of Pinewood, around 2:40 Saturday morning.
The driver, 49-year-old Richard Felder of Summerville, approached a curve at a high speed and went off the left side of the road. His 1987 red Cadillac overturned several times, and Felder was ejected from the car.
Highway Patrol says Felder died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Toxicology tests are still pending.
