Fairfield County, SC (WLTX) - A man wanted on charges that he sexually assaulted his girlfriend has been arrested.
Bun Mann III was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon at an apartment on Castlewood Drive in Winnsboro.
Officers say Mann was found hiding in an attic, and was arrested without incident.
Authorities say Mann held his girlfriend captive from 6:00 p.m. October 26 until noon October 27, a total of eighteen hours. Police say Mann forced her to take him from the Paces Run Apartments on Parklane Road to Winnsboro, where they say he severely beat his girlfriend before releasing her.
Officers also say he held her at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her.
The victim received treatment for her injuries at Palmetto Health Richland.
Mann also has outstanding warrants in Fairfield County for domestic violence against his girlfriend in connection with another incident.
Deputies have also arrested Tiffany Boyd in connection with this case on a charge of harboring a fugitive.
