Sumter Police Search for Missing Woman

Sumter (WLTX) - Sumter police are searching for a woman who suddenly left a hospital, and hasn't been seen since.

Officers are searching for 22-year-old Mary Grace Jordan.

According to investigators, Jordan was transported to Tuomy Hospital for voluntary committment on November 1. Once she got there, however, she refused treatment and left the hospital.

Police say the victim has the mentality of an eight-year-old, and has not been taking her medication.

Jordan was last seen wearing a white pullover hoody sweater with pockets in the front and a pink t-shirt. She also was wearing jeans. She may be carrying a pink pet carrier with clothing inside.
