Jenny Sanford Website Launches

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- South Carolina's First Lady Jenny Sanford now has a website that keeps her fans up to date on her goings-on, but it's unclear on whether or not its actualy endorsed by Sanford.

A Facebook message dated Nov. 4 announced the website last week, and the website lists Sanford's personal email and two staffers' inboxes in the "Contacts" section.

The site opens to an extensive biography about the 40-something Sullivan's Island native. Web visitors can read news stories about the first lady and view picture slideshows.

Sanford's website follows the separation from her husband, Gov. Mark Sanford, after news of his extramarital affair with an Argentinian woman.

In a prepared statement, the first lady said she and the governor had been separated for the two weeks before Sanford disappearance where he told his staff he was "hiking the Appalachian Trail."

In a decidedly public move, Jenny Sanford and her four sons moved out of the Governor's Mansion in Columbia and returned to her hometown of Sullivan's Island.
