Aiken, SC (WLTX) -- Aiken County officers are searching for two "armed and dangerous" men they say are responsible for a number of burglaries in the county.
Deputies with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office are searching for 24-year-old Kelvin Addison of Kellogg Drive in Aiken and 26-year-old Marquis Cummings of Seaborn Drive in North Augusta.
When the men are arrested, Addison will be charged with first degree burglary, second degree burglary and grand larceny, while Cummings will be charged with first degree burglary, two counts of second degree burglary and kidnapping, authorities say.
Investigators say between the men, Addison and Cummings are responsible for five home burglaries. In September, Addison broke into two North Augusta homes and took an automatic pistol from one of them, deputies say. Sometime between January and November, Cummings burglarized three homes in North Augusta, investigators say. In two of the burglaries, Cummings held residents at gunpoint and took jewelry, electronics and a vehicle, deputies say.
Deputies believe that both Addison and Cummings may be involved in additional burglaries in Aiken County, and they say both men should not be approached. If you can help deputies find them, you are urged to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or text a tip to "CRIMES" beginning with the term "TIPSC."
