Richland County, SC (WLTX) -- According to Richland County officials, a garbage truck ran into a home on Persimmon Wood Court in the Ballentine area of the county at about 11 a.m. Thursday.
Officials said the refuse collection vehicle, owned by Allwaste Services, experienced mechanical issues before it rolled into the front porch of the home.
No one inside the home was injured in the incident. An employee of the company received minor injuries from the accident and has since been released from an urgent care facility.
Investigators have not yet determined the estimated damages.
