Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The last thing your kids like to think about during the summer is learning - but when it's built into a game we hope they'll have fun and learn at the same time!
When it comes to learning math, some kids love it and some hate it, and I was one who didn't get it. When I was growing up - if these apps were around, maybe I would have tapped into my inner math genius!
The series is called Motion Math, and there are three free games from them, geared for children from four to twelve years old.
The great thing about these apps is it's fun to play, it's kinetic and requires some movement to play, and it helps kids get a sense of numbers.
They've had a ton of great reviews on all the Motion Math apps, it's been developed with guidance from educators and parents, and the end result is pretty fantastic.
Kids that have used the app for only 20 minutes a day have improved their tests scores by an average of fifteen percent, and students outlook on math and fractions improved by more than ten percent.
Motion Math games lets your kids play with numbers and build math skills along the way.
