Twitter is expected to launch a music service as soon as today that suggests artists and songs based on the accounts users follow.
According to All Things D, Twitter users can listen to tracks through third-party services such as iTunes or watch music videos via sites like Vevo.
Twitter would not comment on the report, but a new website has popped up -- music.twitter.com -- featuring the Twitter logo with the term #music and a sign-in button.
The launch of a Twitter Music app could not come at a better time. The annual music festival Coachella kicks off this weekend.
