Three Dead Identified in Hartsville Plane Crash

Hartsville, SC -- Three people have died after a plane crash in Hartsville killing everyone on board.

Coroner Todd Hardee says it happened about a mile from the Hartsville Regional Airport, near the intersection of Fox Hollow and Hollandia Park Circle around 6:40 p.m. Saturday.

Hardee says that the three men killed have been identified as George Thomas Rogers, 61, Joseph Melton Loflin III, 29, and Leslie R Bradshaw, 75.

Rogers is from Society Hill, Loflin from Pelzer, and Bradshaw from Hartsville.

The autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Newberry, South Carolina.

Hartsville Fire Marshall Bryan Crowley says the crash happened in a residential area, but there did not appear to be any damage.

He said the National Transportation Safety Board or NTSB would arrive Sunday to investigate.
