Columbia, SC (WLTX)- A mess caused by an overturned cement truck in downtown Columbia has been cleaned up.
The Columbia Police Department tweeted a traffic warning after a cement truck lost its load early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Blossom and Assembly.
The truck was moved fairly quickly, but it took a while to clean up the spilled cement.
Drivers had to re-routed on Assembly Street between Blossom and Pendleton Streets for about three hours. At about 10:15, police announced the road was reopened.
Officers have not yet said what caused the truck to tip over, or if there were serious injuries.
