Des Moines, IA (KCCI) - One of the most iconic types of fair food is getting an even greasier--some would say tastier--makeover at the Iowa State Fair.
This year, they're taking a corn dog and wrapping in in bacon.
Yes, you read that right.
Campbell's Concession pre-wrapped 12,000 before the fair even started, and it's a good thing they did. On the first day of sale, they'd already sold close to a thousand of them.
People who tried it didn't go away disappointed.
"Five dollars - they're worth it let me tell ya," said one fairgoer.
