(AP) - The family of an 8-year-old Georgia girl says she suffered minor injuries after a dolphin bit her hand at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla.
Young Jillian Thomas of Alpharetta, Georgia was feeding fish to the dolphin last month. When she ran out of fish, she lifted the paper tray and that's when the dolphin went after the tray.
The dolphin let go after a few seconds. Jillian's father said he thought she was going to get pulled into the water. She suffered three small punctures and a swollen hand.
SeaWorld warns spectators not to raise the paper tray. Her parents say Jillian made a mistake but they say, they were never warned of the danger.
