Jenna Bush Hager expecting 'springtime baby'

A beaming Jenna Bush Hager shared happy news Wednesday morning on Today.

"I'm nervous and so excited to say Henry and I are pregnant, or I'm pregnant."

"It's something I've always wanted," said Hager, 31, getting a little emotional.

"She was just crying at the Maxwell House commercial," cracked Savannah Guthrie.

"What kind of mom will she be?" asked Matt Lauer. "Amazing," said Jenna's husband, Henry. "She's a teacher."

Jenna, who got married in May 2008 at the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas, has said her parents are eager for her to start a family. Former president George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, will become grandparents for the first time.

 "I'm fired up," George Bush said on a phone call to the show. "Lookin' forward to it!"

And Jenna's mom said: "We're thrilled. We're absolutely thrilled." She added they "definitely plan to spoil" the grandchild.

As for what the grandchild will call George W. Bush? "Sir!" the former president replied.
