Weight Watchers Desserts Recalled For Possible Contamination

Columbia, SC (WLTX)- Thousands of cases of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae desserts are being recalled due to potential Listeria contamination.

According to the FDA, Aspen Hills, the supplier of the cookie dough pieces, reported a positive test for Listeria.

The companies are now voluntarily recalling the desserts as a precaution.

The recall covers around 100,000 cases of the frozen desserts.

There have been no consumer complaints or reports of any illnesses related to this recall.

Consumers who purchased this product should not eat it. They should return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund. Consumers can also contact 1-866-572-3805. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, for a full refund.

This product was distributed to retailers in the U.S. only.
