Lexington County, SC (WLTX)- South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly hit and run that occured on I-26 near the St. Andrews road exit.
According to Coroner Harry Harman, Miranda Jeanette Senn, 31, of West Columbia, was driving a moped eastbound on I-26 when she was struck by an unknown vehicle which left the scene.
The coroner said Senn was pronounced at the scene from the injuries she received in the accident.
Troopers said the crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday and tied up traffic for most of the morning.
Troopers said they are looking for a vehicle of interest that has been identified as a midsized sedan with possible left front and/or left side damage.
