Forest Acres, SC (WLTX) - SCE&G says a gas main break in Forest Acres has been secured, and the area is "safe and secure."
The break took place at 10:14 a.m. at the intersection of Spring Lake Road at Laurel Springs Road.
Spring Lake Road circles around the Forest Lake Country Club, which is off Trenholm Road.
Several roads in the area had to be shut down while emergency crews repaired the area. Ten homes also had to be evacuated.
