Truck Involved in Hit & Run Found, Search Continues for Suspect

Lexington, SC (WLTX) -- State Troopers say they have found a truck involved in a hit and run accident in Pelion Wednesday Night. The truck was found abandoned in Orangeburg County Friday morning.

Warrants have been issued now for Romeo Romero Jr. Investigators say he was driving the truck that hit 59-year-old Irma L. Hudson around 6:41 p.m. Wednesday. 

Investigators say Hudson stopped outside the county dump on Pine Street to pick up trash that had fallen out of the back of her vehicle. A GMC pickup hit her, and then left the scene. Previous Coverage: Victim Identified in Fatal Hit & Run
