Irmo, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for the people who spray painted two Irmo-area churches.
Investigators say there have been three incidents total at two different churches.
The first crime took place between 11 p.m. on May 11th and 8 a.m. on May 12th at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Officers say someone painted the church parking lot with "DF 10" and put a swastika on a backboard on the basketball court. Alcoholic beverages were also left on the property.
The next case took place in the early morning hours of July 7 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. A suspect spray-painted "there is no God" on the building and "atheism" on a slab near the entrance."
Then either late the next day or early that Monday, someone vandalized the Family Life Center at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. This time, the person spray-painted the side of the building with the words "God=Delusion."
