Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies have arrested one man and are searching for another in the killing of a 72-year-old man.
Officers announced Friday that 25-year-old Jeremy Seldon Brady earlier in the day, and that they have a warrant for 26-year-old Nicholas Scott Williams.
Both will be charged with murder, armed robbery, and first-degree burglary.
Back on July 28, officers say Brady and Williams went to the home of Robert Lewis Mitchell Sr, where officers say the men pretended to want to buy prescription painkillers. According to investigators, the men had bought painkillers at the home before.
This time, however, deputies say the men shot to death Mitchell with a shotgun. Officers say the men stole money, a safe, credit cards, and prescription drugs from the home.
Officers say they have found the safe and the weapon used in the killing.
