Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies are searching for a suspect they say tried to break into a pawn shop with a pickup truck.
Officers say the incident took place at Y B Broke Gold & Pawn at 2817 Augusta Road in West Columbia.
Officers say the suspect used a white or gray Ford Ranger pickup to hit the building. Despite his efforts, he was not able to make off with any items inside the store.
Investigators say the truck was built in the late 1990s or early 2000s, and has a paper tag where the license plate should be. The vehicle may have damage to the front and rear of the vehicle.
