Spartanburg, SC (WLTX/WSPA) - An elderly man in Spartanburg County is being accused of assaulting an 11-year-old girl on her way home from school.
WSPA-TV reports that James E. Holmes, 81, is charged with assault and battery third degree.
Wednesday, Spartanburg County deputies got a report that Holmes had grabbed the girl. The station reports that the man grabbed her, put his tongue in her mouth, and grabbed her breast.
Holmes has been released on bond.
