Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- The Columbia Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a car that may be connected to a recent murder.

Columbia P.D. believe the car in the photographs was in the possession of the murder victim early last Sunday. 

It's a white 4 door 1996 Mazda Protoge, and the rear tail lights, including the brake lights, may damaged or not working. 

It is suspected that the car did not have tags on at the time of the murder.
