Forest Acres, SC (WLTX) - A fire has caused extensive damage to a home in Forest Acres.
The fire took place around 6 p.m. Friday on Pine Belt Road.
Fire officials say no one was home at the time, and they believe the fire caused about $225,000 in damage.
Much of that damage is on the second floor and the attic on the back end of the house.
Fire officials say unattended cooking led to the fire.
