Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Brookland-Cayce Swim Team is hosting their 2nd annual Breaststroke for a Cure event Saturday afternoon from 12:00-2:00pm at the Quail Hollow Pool in West Columbia.
Onlookers can purchase laps and designate a team member of their choice to swim in an effort to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Students will swim 50 meters for $3 or 100 meters for $5.
All proceeds go to Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. In 2010, the BC Swim Team raised over $1,700 for the charity.
