Calhoun County, SC (WLTX) -- Calhoun County Sheriff's Deputies are asking for the public's help finding a missing soldier stationed at Fort Jackson. Family members tell deputies they have not seen 26-year-old SGT Robert Charles Larson since around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Calhoun deputies say he has completed several overseas tours including Iraq and Afghanistan and is a Purple Heart recipient. According to the website Guardian of Valor, SGT Larson suffers from a traumatic brain injury he sustained while deployed in Iraq in 2005.

Larson's wife says he was last seen in the Sandy Run community driving his 2009 black Jeep Wrangler 4-door with South Carolina tag PH5752, which is a purple heart license tag.

If you have any information that can help find SGT Larson you are asked to call the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office at (803) 874-2741 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
